It is
played with a single standard deck of 52 cards. Wagers are placed in the Tie, Banker and Player areas shown on the table. The objective of the game is to predict which of the two hands that are about to be dealt (the Banker or the Player's) will have a value closest to nine. If the sum of the cards is greater than 9, the first digit is dropped. If a hand's total is greater than 10 then only the last digit is used (e.g. a six and a nine have a value of 5) Winning hands in Baccarat depend on the hand you bet on, and whether that hand wins. Each hand will contain either two or three cards. Face cards and 10s have no value in Baccarat. The winning Baccarat hand will be the one with a value closest to nine. To place a bet, click on the betting area to set the betting focus and then set the amount as described above. Values that exceed nine are adjusted by removing the tens column. If you bet on a hand, and the hand loses, you lose your bet. All other card values are treated as they appear.
