Baccarat is a card game played with a single deck of cards. In Baccarat the player competes against the banker. There are just three bets to make and the game is often played for very high odds. In traditional casinos Baccarat tables are often kept separate from the rest of the casino in a ‘Baccarat Pit. You can also bet on the possibility of a tie. In certain cases, a third card is dealt to the player or the banker or both (Third Card Rules) Cards are dealt from a shoe that holds 6 decks of cards. The objective of the game is to predict which of the two hands (Banker or Player) that are about to be dealt will be closer to having a value of 9. Once the size of your wager has been determined, you must decide which of three possible bets you want to make before the cards are dealt. You may make a Push Bet by itsef or with either a Bank or Player Bet. The winning Baccarat hand will be the one with a value closest to nine. To place a bet, click on the betting area to set the betting focus and then set the amount as described above. Ace cards have a value of one. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.
