Baccarat is a card game that is dealt from a shoe that holds 6 to 8 decks in
most casinos. Records suggest the game may have been played as far back as the fifteenth century in France where it is sometime known as punto banco. There are three types of bets and the game odds are high. When all the cards are dealt the hand closest to 9 wins. Winning bets placed on the “Banker” pay 1:1, however there is a 5%
commission that the casino takes out. Two hands of cards are dealt, one to the Player and one to the Banker. If the first two cards dealt to the Player or the Banker are equal to five (5) or less, then the respective hand will be dealt a third card. The probability of a "Tie" win is 9.5%. Each hand will contain either two or three cards. Player's Hand Wins: 2x the bet. If the hand that you bet on wins, you are paid double your bet, unless you bet on a tie. If you bet on a tie, the payout is eight times the amount you bet. To switch bets from the Player to Bank (or back again) just click the mouse on the desired betting area. If the hand you bet on wins you will be paid out according to the rules in the Table Limits and payout section.
