Baccarat is the oldest of modern casino games and has traditionally been the game of the high rollers. There are three types of bets
and the game odds are high. When a hand total is larger 9, the first digit is dropped (an 11 would become 1) If the sum of the cards is greater than 9, the first digit is dropped. Each hand will contain either two or three cards. The winning hand will be the one whose value is closest to nine (9) If either the player and /or the Banker has a total of 8 or 9, they both stand. This Rule overrides all other rules. Face cards and 10s have no value in Baccarat. The winning Baccarat hand will be the one with a value closest to nine. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and win, the House charges a 5% commission. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. If the hand you bet on wins you will be paid out according to the rules in the Table Limits and payout section.
