The object of baccarat is to obtain a hand with a point total closest to 9. If the value of the hand is ten points or more, subtract ten, and the remainder is the baccarat point value of the hand. To place a Bet simply position the cursor on the up arrow above the amount desired and depress the left mouse button. If the sum of the cards is greater than 9, the first digit is dropped. The bet size can only be changed between games. The objective of the game is to predict which of the two hands (Banker or Player) that are about to be dealt will be closer to having a value of 9. The first pays if the Bank Hand wins, the second if the Player's Hand does, the last if both hands push or tie. The winning Baccarat hand will be the one with a value closest to nine. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and win, the House charges a 5% commission. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. All other card values are treated as they appear.
