If the value of the hand is ten points or more, subtract ten, and the remainder is the baccarat point value of the hand. The objective of the game is to predict whose hand, the Banker's or the Player's, will be closer to the value of nine. Traditionally, the shoe contains anywhere from six to eight standard 52-card deck without jokers. The “Tie” bet pays 9:1 if won. If the first two cards dealt to the Player or the Banker are equal to five (5) or less, then the respective hand will be dealt a third card. The probability of a "Tie" win is 9.5%. The first pays if the Bank Hand wins, the second if the Player's Hand does, the last if both hands push or tie. Face cards and 10s have no value in Baccarat. If the hand that you bet on wins, you are paid double your bet, unless you bet on a tie. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. To switch bets from the Player to Bank (or back again) just click the mouse on the desired betting area. Once the winning hand is determined the game is over. If the hand you bet on wins you will be paid out according to the rules in the Table Limits and payout section.
