Baccarat is a card game that is dealt from a shoe that holds 6 to 8 decks in
most casinos. A third card may under certain circumstances be drawn for each. There are two hands dealt, a player's hand and a banker's hand. The objective of the game is to predict whose hand, the Banker's or the
Player's, will be closer to the value of nine. If the hands tie, and you did not bet on a Tie, your bet is returned to you. It is often quite large and can have seating for as many as twelve people. If the first two cards dealt to the Player or the Banker are equal to five (5) or less, then the respective hand will be dealt a third card. Winning hands in Baccarat depend on the hand you bet on, and whether that hand wins. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. Player's Hand Wins: 2x the bet. Aces are worth 1 point. All other cards are counted at face value. To switch bets from the Player to Bank (or back again) just click the mouse on the desired betting area. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. All other card values are treated as they appear.
