Baccarat is a card game played with a single deck of cards. Records suggest the game may have been played as far back as the fifteenth century in France where it is sometime known as punto banco. When all the cards are dealt the hand closest to 9 wins. Two hands of cards are dealt, one to the Player and one to the Banker. The bet size can only be changed between games. Winning hands in Baccarat depend on the hand you bet on, and whether that hand wins. The first pays if the Bank Hand wins, the second if the Player's Hand does, the last if both hands push or tie. You may make a Push Bet by itsef or with either a Bank or Player Bet. Betting focus is indicated by a thin red rectangle. All other cards are counted at face value. Ace cards have a value of one. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. All other card values are treated as they appear.
