Baccarat is a game of chance and skill between you and the Banker. Records suggest the game may have been played as far back as the fifteenth century in France where it is sometime known as punto banco. If the value of the hand is ten points or more, subtract ten, and the remainder is the baccarat point value of the hand. When all the cards are dealt the hand closest to 9 wins. Once the bet has been placed the two hands will be dealt. If the mouse button is held down, the amount will continue to increase until you reach the Bet Maximum set or run out of money. Each hand will contain either two or three cards. Use the Player button to place your bet on the Player's hand. Use the Tie button if you think a Tie will be dealt next. The winning Baccarat hand will be the one with a value closest to nine. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and win, the House charges a 5% commission. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.
