Baccarat is a card game played with a single deck of cards. Bets can only be changed before a new hand is dealt. A tie that you did not bet on pays back your ante. If a hand's total is greater than 10 then only the last digit is used (e.g. a six and a nine have a value of 5) The objective of the game is to predict which of the two hands (Banker or Player) that are about to be dealt will be closer to having a value of 9. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. Player's Hand Wins: 2x the bet. The winning Baccarat hand will be the one with a value closest to nine. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. Values that exceed nine are adjusted by removing the tens column. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.
