Baccarat is the oldest of all games played in modern casinos. In Baccarat the player competes against the banker. In traditional casinos Baccarat tables are often kept separate from the rest of the casino in a ‘Baccarat Pit. Traditionally, the shoe contains anywhere from six to eight standard 52-card deck without jokers. In the event of a "Tie", the bet is a push and the "Tie" bet is paid. Cards are dealt from a shoe that holds 6 decks of cards. The objective of the game is to predict which of the two hands (Banker or Player) that are about to be dealt will be closer to having a value of 9. Use the Banker button to place your bet on the Banker's hand. Use the Tie button if you think a Tie will be dealt next. If the hand that you bet on wins, you are paid double your bet, unless you bet on a tie. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. To switch bets from the Player to Bank (or back again) just click the mouse on the desired betting area. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. All other card values are treated as they appear.
