Baccarat is the oldest of all games played in modern casinos. The objective of the game is to predict which of the two hands (Banker or Player) that are about to be dealt will be closer to having a value of 9. Wagers are placed in the Tie, Banker and Player areas shown on the table. In traditional casinos Baccarat tables are often kept separate from the rest of the casino in a ‘Baccarat Pit. You can also bet on the
possibility of a tie. If the first two cards dealt to the Player or the Banker are equal to five (5) or less, then the respective hand will be dealt a third card. Use the Player button to place your bet on the Player's hand. The first pays if the Bank Hand wins, the second if the Player's Hand does, the last if both hands push or tie. Face cards and 10s have no value in Baccarat. Aces are worth 1 point. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and win, the House charges a 5% commission. If the hand you bet on wins you will be paid out according to the rules in the Table Limits and payout section.
