In Baccarat two cards are dealt to each of two hands, called the Player Hand and the Bank Hand. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and the hand wins, you pay a 5% commission to the House. When a hand total is larger 9, the first digit is dropped (an 11 would become 1) The higher hands wins. Two hands of cards are dealt, one for the Player and one for the Banker. Each hand will contain either two or three cards. There are three types of bets: Bank Bets, Player Bets and Push Bets. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. Face cards and 10s have no value in Baccarat. If the hand that you bet on wins, you are paid double your bet, unless you bet on a tie. All other cards are counted at face value. Values that exceed nine are adjusted by removing the tens column. All other card values are treated as they appear.
