The object of baccarat is to obtain a hand with a point total closest to 9. When all the cards are dealt the hand closest to 9 wins. It is often quite large and can have seating for as many as twelve people. To reduce the Bet simply follow the same procedure using the down arrow. The winning hand will be the one whose value is closest to nine (9) The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. Face cards and 10s have no value in Baccarat. To place a bet, click on the betting area to set the betting focus and then set the amount as described above. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and win, the House charges a 5% commission. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.
