The object of baccarat is to obtain a hand with a point total closest to 9. It is played with a single standard deck of 52 cards. There are three types of bets and the game odds are high. Winning bets placed on the “Player” pay 1:1. If the hands tie, and you did not bet on a Tie, your bet is returned to you. The bet size can only be changed between games. Two hands of cards are dealt, one for the Player and one for the Banker. Banker's Hand Wins: 2x the bet - 5% commission on winnings for the House. Aces are worth 1 point. If you bet on a tie, the payout is eight times the amount you bet. Ace cards have a value of one. Once the winning hand is determined the game is over. All other card values are treated as they appear.
