The object of baccarat is to obtain a hand with a point total closest to 9. In Baccarat the player competes against the banker. There are just three bets to make and the game is often played for very high odds. Face cards and 10s have no value in Baccarat. If the hands tie, and you did not bet on a Tie, your bet is returned to you. The probability of a "Banker" win is nearly 46%, and the probability of a "Player" win is 44.6%. The objective of the game is to predict which of the two hands (Banker or Player) that are about to be dealt will be closer to having a value of 9. You can decide to bet on the Banker's hand winning, the Player's hand winning or the possibility of a tie. If the hand that you bet on wins, you are paid double your bet, unless you bet on a tie. To place a bet, click on the betting area to set the betting focus and then set the amount as described above. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and win, the House charges a 5% commission. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.
