Baccarat is a card game that is dealt from a shoe that holds 6 to 8 decks in
most casinos. Records suggest the game may have been played as far back as the fifteenth century in France where it is sometime known as punto banco. If the value of the hand is ten points or more, subtract ten, and the remainder is the baccarat point value of the hand. Winning bets placed on the “Player” pay 1:1. The player and the banker are then each dealt a two-card hand.
Baccarat is played using eight 52-card decks. Baccarat is a card game played with a single deck of cards. If the first two cards dealt to the Player or the Banker are equal to five or less, then the respective hand will be dealt a third card. You may make a Push Bet by itsef or with either a Bank or Player Bet. If the hand that you bet on wins, you are paid double your bet, unless you bet on a tie. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and win, the House charges a 5% commission. If you bet on a hand, and the hand loses, you lose your bet. All other card values are treated as they appear.
