In Baccarat two cards are dealt to each of two hands, called the Player Hand and the Bank Hand. Aces count as one, 2 through 9 as their face value; tens and picture cards count as zero. If the value of the hand is ten points or more, subtract ten, and the remainder is the baccarat point value of the hand. The objective of the game is to predict which of the two hands that are about to be dealt (the Banker or the Player's) will have a value closest to nine. If the mouse button is held down, the amount will continue to increase until you reach the Bet Maximum set or run out of money. The decks are shuffled each round. Use the Banker button to place your bet on the Banker's hand. Face cards and 10s have no value in Baccarat. Aces are worth 1 point. To place a bet, click on the betting area to set the betting focus and then set the amount as described above. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and win, the House charges a 5% commission. If you bet on a hand, and the hand loses, you lose your bet. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.
