Baccarat is a card game played with a single deck of cards. A third card may under certain circumstances be drawn for each. There are three types of bets and the game odds are high. Cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. Aces have a value of 1, two through nine are counted at face value and tens and face cards have a value of 0. It is often quite large and can have seating for as many as twelve people. Cards are dealt from a shoe that holds 6 decks of cards. If the first two cards dealt to the Player or the Banker are equal to five or less, then the respective hand will be dealt a third card. Once the size of your wager has been determined, you must decide which of three possible bets you want to make before the cards are dealt. The winning Baccarat hand will be the one with a value closest to nine. To place a bet, click on the betting area to set the betting focus and then set the amount as described above. Values that exceed nine are adjusted by removing the tens column. If you bet on a hand, and the hand loses, you lose your bet. If the hand you bet on wins you will be paid out according to the rules in the Table Limits and payout section.
