The object of baccarat is to obtain a hand with a point total closest to 9. It is played with a single standard deck of 52 cards. The hand which is closest to 9 wins. Face cards and 10s have no value in Baccarat. You can also bet on the possibility of a tie. The Increase and Decrease buttons are used to adjust the size of your bet. If the first two cards dealt to the Player or the Banker are equal to five or less, then the respective hand will be dealt a third card. Once the size of your wager has been determined, you must decide which of three possible bets you want to make before the cards are dealt. Player's Hand Wins: 2x the bet. Betting focus is indicated by a thin red rectangle. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. To switch bets from the Player to Bank (or back again) just click the mouse on the desired betting area. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.
