The object of baccarat is to obtain a hand with a point total closest to 9. Baccarat has also become increasingly popular among regular Casino patrons. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and the hand wins, you pay a 5% commission to the House. The player and the banker are then each dealt a two-card hand. Each wager placed is treated as a separate wager against the banker. Winning hands in Baccarat depend on the hand you bet on, and whether that hand wins. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. Use the Tie button if you think a Tie will be dealt next. Betting focus is indicated by a thin red rectangle. To place a bet, click on the betting area to set the betting focus and then set the amount as described above. Ace cards have a value of one. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.
