In Baccarat two cards are dealt to each of two hands, called the Player Hand and the Bank Hand. Aces count as one, 2 through 9 as their face value; tens and picture cards count as zero. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and the hand wins, you pay a 5% commission to the House. The objective of the game is to predict which of the two hands that are about to be dealt (the Banker or the Player's) will have a value closest to nine. You can also bet on the possibility of a tie. Cards are dealt from a shoe that holds 6 decks of cards. Use the Player button to place your bet on the Player's hand. Each hand will contain either two or three cards. Player's Hand Wins: 2x the bet. Aces are worth 1 point. To place a bet, click on the betting area to set the betting focus and then set the amount as described above. Ace cards have a value of one. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.
