The objective of the game is to predict which of the two hands (Banker or Player) that are about to be dealt will be closer to having a value of 9. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and the hand wins, you pay a 5% commission to the House. Place your bet(s) on the table in the area labeled Player, Tie, Banker. Aces have a value of 1, two through nine are counted at face value and tens and face cards have a value of 0. It is often quite large and can have seating for as many as twelve people. Baccarat is a card game played with a single deck of cards. The decks are shuffled each round. You can decide to bet on the Banker's hand winning, the Player's hand winning or the possibility of a tie. If the hand that you bet on wins, you are paid double your bet, unless you bet on a tie. To place a bet, click on the betting area to set the betting focus and then set the amount as described above. Values that exceed nine are adjusted by removing the tens column. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. If the hand you bet on wins you will be paid out according to the rules in the Table Limits and payout section.
