The object of baccarat is to obtain a hand with a point total closest to 9. It is
played with a single standard deck of 52 cards. Wagers are placed in the Tie, Banker and Player areas shown on the table. King’s, Queen’s, Jack’s and Ten’s have no point value. The higher hands wins. It is often quite large and can have seating for as many as twelve people. Each wager placed is treated as a separate wager against the banker. The decks are shuffled each round. Use the Banker button to place your bet on the Banker's hand. Face cards and 10s have no value in Baccarat. Aces are worth 1 point. All other cards are counted at face value. Values that exceed nine are adjusted by removing the tens column. If you bet on a hand, and the hand loses, you lose your bet. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.
