The objective of the game is to predict which of the two hands (Banker or Player) that are about to be dealt will be closer to having a value of 9. Once the bet is placed, the "Player" and "Banker" are each dealt 2 cards. Wagers are placed in the Tie, Banker and Player areas shown on the table. King’s, Queen’s, Jack’s and Ten’s have no point value. If the sum of the cards is greater than 9, the first digit is dropped.
Baccarat is played using eight 52-card decks. Each wager placed is treated as a separate wager against the banker. The decks are shuffled each round. You may make a Push Bet by itsef or with either a Bank or Player Bet. The winning Baccarat hand will be the one with a value closest to nine. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. Ace cards have a value of one. Once the winning hand is determined the game is over. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.
