In Baccarat two cards are dealt to each of two hands, called the Player Hand and the Bank Hand. In traditional casinos Baccarat tables are often kept separate from the rest of the casino in a ‘Baccarat Pit. Aces have a value of 1, two through nine are counted at face value and tens and face cards have a value of 0. The “Tie” bet pays 9:1 if won. There are three types of bets: Bank Bets, Player Bets and Push Bets. Once the size of your wager has been determined, you must decide which of three possible bets you want to make before the cards are dealt. Face cards and 10s have no value in Baccarat. Betting focus is indicated by a thin red rectangle. To place a bet, click on the betting area to set the betting focus and then set the amount as described above. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and win, the House charges a 5% commission. Once the winning hand is determined the game is over. All other card values are treated as they appear.
