The object of baccarat is to obtain a hand with a point total closest to 9. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and the hand wins, you pay a 5% commission to the House. King’s, Queen’s, Jack’s and Ten’s have no point value. The higher hands wins. The Increase and Decrease buttons are used to adjust the size of your bet. The probability of a "Banker" win is nearly 46%, and the probability of a "Player" win is 44.6%. If the first two cards dealt to the Player or the Banker are equal to five or less, then the respective hand will be dealt a third card. If either the player and /or the Banker has a total of 8 or 9, they both stand. This Rule overrides all other rules. You can decide to bet on the Banker's hand winning, the Player's hand winning or the possibility of a tie. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. Ace cards have a value of one. Once the winning hand is determined the game is over. If the hand you bet on wins you will be paid out according to the rules in the Table Limits and payout section.
