The object of baccarat is to obtain a hand with a point total closest to 9. When a hand total is larger 9, the first digit is dropped (an 11 would become 1) Traditionally, the shoe contains anywhere from six to eight standard 52-card deck without jokers. In certain cases, a third card is dealt to the player or the banker or both (Third Card Rules) If the first two cards dealt to the Player or the Banker are equal to five (5) or less, then the respective hand will be dealt a third card. Two hands of cards are dealt, one for the Player and one for the Banker. The first pays if the Bank Hand wins, the second if the Player's Hand does, the last if both hands push or tie. You may make a Push Bet by itsef or with either a Bank or Player Bet. To place a bet, click on the betting area to set the betting focus and then set the amount as described above. Values that exceed nine are adjusted by removing the tens column. Once the winning hand is determined the game is over. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.
