Wagers are placed in the Tie, Banker and Player areas shown on the table. Winning bets placed on the “Player” pay 1:1. In the event of a "Tie", the bet is a push and the "Tie" bet is paid. Cards are dealt from a shoe that holds 6 decks of cards. The objective of the game is to predict which of the two hands (Banker or Player) that are about to be dealt will be closer to having a value of 9. If either the player and /or the Banker has a total of 8 or 9, they both stand. This Rule overrides all other rules. The winning Baccarat hand will be the one with a value closest to nine. To place a bet, click on the betting area to set the betting focus and then set the amount as described above. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and win, the House charges a 5% commission. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. All other card values are treated as they appear.
