In Baccarat two cards are dealt to each of two hands, called the Player Hand and the Bank Hand. Baccarat has also become increasingly popular among regular Casino patrons. A 5% commission is taken when you bet on a winning Banker's hand. Picture cards and 10's have a value of zero, aces are one and all others are their face value.
Baccarat is played using eight 52-card decks. If the first two cards dealt to the Player or the Banker are equal to five (5) or less, then the respective hand will be dealt a third card. The decks are shuffled each round. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. If the hand that you bet on wins, you are paid double your bet, unless you bet on a tie. All other cards are counted at face value. Values that exceed nine are adjusted by removing the tens column. If you bet on a hand, and the hand loses, you lose your bet. If the hand you bet on wins you will be paid out according to the rules in the Table Limits and payout section.
