Once the bet is placed, the "Player" and "Banker" are each dealt 2 cards. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and the hand wins, you pay a 5% commission to the House. When a hand total is larger 9, the first digit is dropped (an 11 would become 1) Once the bet has been placed the two hands will be dealt. If a hand's total is greater than 10 then only the last digit is used (e.g. a six and a nine have a value of 5) Baccarat is a card game played with a single deck of cards. Use the Player button to place your bet on the Player's hand. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. Use the Tie button if you think a Tie will be dealt next. Aces are worth 1 point. To place a bet, click on the betting area to set the betting focus and then set the amount as described above. Ace cards have a value of one. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.
