The object of baccarat is to obtain a hand with a point total closest to 9. Picture cards and 10's have a value of zero, aces are one and all others are their face value. If the sum of the cards is greater than 9, the first digit is dropped. If the mouse button is held down, the amount will continue to increase until you reach the Bet Maximum set or run out of money. Each hand will contain either two or three cards. The winning hand will be the one whose value is closest to nine (9) Banker's Hand Wins: 2x the bet - 5% commission on winnings for the House. Face cards and 10s have no value in Baccarat. Aces are worth 1 point. To place a bet, click on the betting area to set the betting focus and then set the amount as described above. Values that exceed nine are adjusted by removing the tens column. If you bet on a hand, and the hand loses, you lose your bet. All other card values are treated as they appear.
