If the value of the hand is ten points or more, subtract ten, and the remainder is the baccarat point value of the hand. Picture cards and 10's have a value of zero, aces are one and all others are their face value. If a hand's total is greater than 10 then only the last digit is used (e.g. a six and a nine have a value of 5) The probability of a "Tie" win is 9.5%. Banker's Hand Wins: 2x the bet - 5% commission on winnings for the House. Face cards and 10s have no value in Baccarat. Aces are worth 1 point. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. Values that exceed nine are adjusted by removing the tens column. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. If the hand you bet on wins you will be paid out according to the rules in the Table Limits and payout section.
