The object of baccarat is to obtain a hand with a point total closest to 9. A third card may under certain circumstances be drawn for each. Place your bet(s) on the table in the area labeled Player, Tie, Banker. The Increase and Decrease buttons are used to adjust the size of your bet. Two hands of cards are dealt, one for the Player and one for the Banker. The first pays if the Bank Hand wins, the second if the Player's Hand does, the last if both hands push or tie. If the hand that you bet on wins, you are paid double your bet, unless you bet on a tie. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and win, the House charges a 5% commission. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. If the hand you bet on wins you will be paid out according to the rules in the Table Limits and payout section.
