Records suggest the game may have been played as far back as the fifteenth century in France where it is sometime known as punto banco. There are three types of bets
and the game odds are high. King’s, Queen’s, Jack’s and Ten’s have no point value. Once the bet has been placed the two hands will be dealt. If the first two cards dealt to the Player or the Banker are equal to five or less, then the respective hand will be dealt a third card. The value of a hand is calculated by adding up the value of the cards. Aces are worth 1 point. All other cards are counted at face value. Values that exceed nine are adjusted by removing the tens column. If you bet on a hand, and the hand loses, you lose your bet. All other card values are treated as they appear.
