In Baccarat two cards are dealt to each of two hands, called the Player Hand and the Bank Hand. The objective of the game is to predict which of the two hands (Banker or Player) that are about to be dealt will be closer to having a value of 9. If the value of the hand is ten points or more, subtract ten, and the remainder is the baccarat point value of the hand. The objective of the game is to predict whose hand, the Banker's or the
Player's, will be closer to the value of nine. Aces have a value of 1, two through nine are counted at face value and tens and face cards have a value of 0. The “Tie” bet pays 9:1 if won. If the first two cards dealt to the Player or the Banker are equal to five (5) or less, then the respective hand will be dealt a third card. The probability of a "Tie" win is 9.5%. You can decide to bet on the Banker's hand winning, the Player's hand winning or the possibility of a tie. Betting focus is indicated by a thin red rectangle. To place a bet, click on the betting area to set the betting focus and then set the amount as described above. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and win, the House charges a 5% commission. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. If the hand you bet on wins you will be paid out according to the rules in the Table Limits and payout section.
