Cards are dealt from a deck of cards called a shoe. The higher hands wins. The “Tie” bet pays 9:1 if won. If the first two cards dealt to the Player or the Banker are equal to five (5) or less, then the respective hand will be dealt a third card. The objective of the game is to predict which of the two hands (Banker or Player) that are about to be dealt will be closer to having a value of 9. The first pays if the Bank Hand wins, the second if the Player's Hand does, the last if both hands push or tie. Face cards and 10s have no value in Baccarat. If the hand that you bet on wins, you are paid double your bet, unless you bet on a tie. If you bet on a tie, the payout is eight times the amount you bet. Values that exceed nine are adjusted by removing the tens column. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.
