In Baccarat two cards are dealt to each of two hands, called the Player Hand and the Bank Hand. Before the hands are dealt, you
must place your bet on either the “Player” the “Banker” or the “Tie”
bet. When all the cards are dealt the hand closest to 9 wins. Aces have a value of 1, two through nine are counted at face value and tens and face cards have a value of 0. It is often quite large and can have seating for as many as twelve people. Each hand will contain either two or three cards. The objective of the game is to predict which of the two hands (Banker or Player) that are about to be dealt will be closer to having a value of 9. Each hand will contain either two or three cards. Aces are worth 1 point. If you bet on a tie, the payout is eight times the amount you bet. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and win, the House charges a 5% commission. Face cards and Tens have no value and therefore do not contribute to the value of the hand. If the hand you bet on wins you will be paid out according to the rules in the Table Limits and payout section.
